Congrats on finding a guild to run with. Having buddies around can make the grind of undeath downright pleasant at times.
And yes, very creepily adorable.
She makes the most gorgeous little skittery noises when she runs, and she screams when she attacks. I love her!
Now if only I could get a spider minipet... *sigh*
There's a goblin that's in Flamecrest in the Burning Steppes that you need to talk to. He can hook you up with a spider mini-pet, although it's not black and spiky like that one, but more like the teal crystal spiders. His name is Kibler and he wants you get 15 spider eggs from Lower Blackrock Spire, for doing so he gives you some silvers and domesticates one of the babies for ya.
*sigh* Yes, I found out about that one, but it's going to be a LONG time before I'm tough enough to go there!
Ah well. There will be a cute little spider pet in my backpack SOME day...
My little Raeos seems to have tamed your spider's kin. I actually just posted an amusing size comparison post about the spider and the vanity pet spider.

...Mal'jashi borrowed my pen and ran off to write in your journal. Oh dear. Well, he's polite at least, it's not as if Calindrava was going to comment.
Apparently he made a special trip all the way to the Draenae islands to tame her, which I understand is a serious undertaking for anyone who isn't strong enough to fight the guards in Auberdine. He has a ravager pet, too, so it was his second trip to Bloodmyst Isle. He said something about "she be da best lookin' spider in da world! Plus she scare Allies good".
